WHY DO WE COLLECT AND STORE THE DATA
We store the data in order to create, maintain and develop our customer relations, to market our products and services and to gain a better understanding about the needs of our present and potential customers and business partners.
Personal data is used for communication between existing and potential customers and for the maintenance and development of customer relationships. Personal data is also processed when Silverblip sends newsletters and event invitations, provides information about Silverblip´s products and services, sends other direct marketing or sends other possible addressable shipments.
WHAT INFORMATION IS STORED
The data register may contain your personal information such as first and last names, title, phone numbers and email addresses. We may also store your company name, web-address, address and other contact information as well as details about your position in your company and language. We also collect website visit information such as Permission or prohibition for direct marketing, IP address, Order history, Cookie Information, and Other personal data collected with the data subject’s consent. Among the information stored may also be summaries of our conversations and meetings with you together with the relevant dates and times.
SOURCES OF DATA
We gather the data directly from you during personal meetings, phone calls and email conversations or any similar encounters. We may also store data gathered from the internet; such as business web site and social media services.
We may also collect the data using contact forms on our websites (www.silverblip.com, www.mobiledevicesensors.com, www.patentointi.com) and using posting list request, internet cookies or similar techniques.
WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR DATA AND HOW DATA MAY BE DISTRIBUTED
A limited number of our staff have access to your data. All staff having access to such data are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Your data is not shared to any other internal or external personnel or parties without your permission. Please note that there can be exceptions based on your country due to local laws or authorities and that we may be obligated Silverblip Ltd to disclose your data to authorities or third parties pursuant to applicable law or an order of a regulatory or statutory authority.
We may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of our assets, including your personal data, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets or in the event of bankruptcy.
WHERE IS YOUR DATA HOSTED
Silverblip host your data on secure and well proven cloud-based servers and customer management relationship management services (such as MailChimp) primarily in the European Union and US.
Silverblip does not directly transfer data outside the EU. But the data may be transferred outside the EU within the limits of the applicable law when using subcontractors for the data processing.
Silverblip may store personal data in manual and in digital format. Manual personal data is kept in a locked space. Manual and digital data can be accessed within the organization only by the appropriate employees who process the personal data as a part of their work. The digital personal data stored in the systems is technically protected by modern protection measures.
Silverblip has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful loss, extradition, misuse, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized access. The employees of Silverblip are obliged to keep the personal data received during the processing of personal data confidential.
HOW LONG IS YOUR DATA STORED
We keep your data updated. We store the data for a maximum of ten years from the service provided or last update or any action related to data input or use. Silverblip processes the personal data as long as the legal basis of the collection of personal data exists and the purpose of the collection of personal data is valid or the data subject itself prohibits the processing of personal data related to the data subject. Silverblip will implement all reasonable efforts related to rectifications without undue delay. Silverblip evaluates the legal basis of the personal data processed at least every two (2) years.
WHAT ARE THE SECURITY METHODS TO PROTECT YOUR DATA
We undertake to use, and to have our business partners and service providers use, commercially reasonable measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. We keep your data as we keep our other business confidential data. Only the personnel with work related needs have access to your data.
WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS
Right to review: You have a right to review your personal data collected to our register.
Right to prohibition: You have a right to prohibit the use of your personal data for direct advertising, remote sale or other direct marketing as well as for marketing and attitude surveys.
Right to correct incorrect data: If the data registered about you is incorrect, you may submit a written request to correct it.

We may modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time, therefore you should review our website periodically for the up-to-date version. When we change the Privacy Policy, we will update the ‘updated’ date at the top of this page.
